The accuracy of HEPHAIST ball hinge bearings is divided into P grade and SP grade, and the swing accuracy of P grade is ±2.5μm. SP class swing accuracy is ±1μm. During the production of each ball hinge bearing, the accuracy of its measurement will be recorded in the inspection result book.
The accuracy measurement method of ball hinge bearing is as follows:
The bearing base is fixed, the rod end is facing down, and part of the sun ball is visible on the base. Adjust the dial meter, place the dial meter measuring head on the surface of the sun ball, swing the rod end, and observe the runout value of the dial meter.
Precautions for use:
HEPHAIST ball hinge bearings cannot be used as rotating shafts. If the cage tilts during use, correct the cage without load to avoid damage to the cage. Prevent dust and foreign bodies from entering.
Bearing mounting surface, need to let empty machining. Leave room for cage movement.
Due to the factors of product structure, when bearing axial tension, the allowable load is much smaller than the axial thrust, and it is necessary to pay attention to whether the allowable load is in the design.
Spherical bearings are precision parts and must be handled with care. Please strictly observe the following when using and installing.
1, use attention
After precision adjustment and assembly of spherical bearings, such as decomposition, modification or adjustment of the tightness of the bolts on the bearing seat may cause loss of accuracy and damage.
Scratches and bruises inside the steel ball or bearing seat caused by falling and strong impact are the main reasons for damage.
2, installation attention
Before installing the spherical bearing, ensure that there is no foreign matter attached to the mounting surface, confirm whether there are burrs, the position of bolt holes is correct, and confirm whether the bearing seat is tilted after installation. These are the causes of poor precision, poor function and damage.
The retainer of the spherical bearing protrudes at the bottom of the bearing seat, and the mounting surface must be made empty. Please confirm the size table for empty dimensions.
Please note that the load should not be too large when installing spherical bearings. Scratches and bruises on the steel ball or bearing seat during installation are the cause of breakage.
Avoid tilting the retainer.
3, use attention
Be careful to use within the range of allowable load and allowable swing Angle.
Spherical bearings are coated with anti-rust oil at the factory. Wash the anti-rust oil and apply grease before installation.
Grease the rolling surface of the steel ball (as shown) with a syringe before use to ensure that it is fully coated.
Prevent dust and foreign bodies from entering and affecting performance and service life. Ensure that the installation and use of clean, if necessary, please install a dust cover, such as dust prevention measures.
Cannot be used with rotary shafts. This can cause the retainer to tilt and damage.
Please use in the range of 5 ~ 40ºC under atmospheric pressure.
The standard product material is SUJ2 (high carbon, high chromium bearing steel).
Stainless steel is also available on request.
Surface treatment (low temperature black chrome treatment) can also be arranged.
Precision grade SP is available for SRJ008 to SRJ032 projects.
